Secondary industrial school of constructions of Emil Belluš in Trenčín belongs to schools with a long and rich tradition. It was established in september 1961 and the amount of students was rising. Nowadays, more than 400 students in a year attend our refurbished school, which is situated next to the local Boarding house for many schools in Trenčín town.

Our school is aimed at education preparing students either for the university studies or future labour opportunities. The two types of studies are offered for our students, the 4-years studies aimed in subjects such as an architecture, civil engineering, technical drawings, geodetic measurements, interior and landscape designs, constructions economy and management, (preparing students mostly for university) and the 3-years studies such as a carpenter and a plumber (preparing for the labour market). In both forms of study students are given marks and they are obliged to finish secondary education with school-leaving examinations.

Education of good quality is provided by fully qualified teachers, who cooperate, prepare methodical and educational materials, organize competitions such as English olympiad, Geodetical competitions, or Secondary vocational activity and free time activities, various courses in physical abilities like skiing, snowboarding, hiking...
